On our farm the animals’ welfare is at the forefront of all our operations. This means we keep our hens in mobiles vans, ensuring they are not overstocked, and moved every 3-5 days to give them fresh pasture to scratch around. We do not dehorn our goats or remove the kids from their mums. We milk once a day which enables the babies to stay with their mums until the mums have had enough. We are very interested in adopting regenerative farming practices and our honey bees, cows, chickens and goats contributes to the diversity on the farm.
We are striving to practice sustainable farming practices, incorporating regenerative practices where we can, that will in turn assist in growing the food to sustain our family.
